1. As long as person is paying the premiums regularly, health companies have no right to refuse the renewal. In legal term it is termed as guaranteed renewal.
2. It is possible to deduct some amount of premiums paid by self employed from their income, to their State income tax and Federal income tax.
3. There should not be any discrimination like man cannot be charged less for health coverage than women of the same age and same coverage.
4. It is possible that parents policy can cover their children who study full time. Here there is a limit for students age, which is generally 25 years.
