Direct Email Marketing Strategy
With direct email marketing, you need a strategy that works. You have to start off with qualified prospects.
You can do this with direct email marketing if you have a list of addresses to send the emails to. These are not difficult to get since they are on sale all over the internet. The problem is that they are not focused on your product, and are unlikely to respond. Thats a bad way to do it. You can easily create your own list.
Many people sign up to receive emails in return for some inducement or whatever. You can visit forums and get to know people. Try to find mailing lists and newsgroups that are relevant to your products. Find other websites and opt-in newsletters similar to yours and trade email addresses for your direct email marketing.
If you are using direct email marketing, you should also have your own website. That is the way to real riches. You can get free web hosting on the internet, though if you go for an inexpensive option of from $9 to $24 a month, you can get a package with fully automated autoresponders and unlimited email accounts, along with website templates and software that allow you to design your own site.
Put your sales page on your website for your direct email marketing campaign. Lead visitors to an opt-in page that lets them provide their email address in return for a free gift or free course or newsletter, and you start building your list. You can find all kinds of free ebooks and software on the internet that you can offer, though if you write something yourself about your niche, that would be a lot better.
